Responsibilities
- Lead and support process engineering activities to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Develop, review, and optimise production processes to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish process flows that meet operational and customer requirements.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring successful process implementation into production.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Engineering Change (EC) activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Prepare, review, and maintain production work instructions and process documentation.
- Monitor manufacturing performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and productivity enhancement projects.
- Analyse production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel on manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Support ISO compliance activities and maintain process documentation according to quality standards.
Requirements
- Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in process engineering within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or contract manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment or equipment engineering will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
