As part of the Global IT organization, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and monitoring Sulzer global network services Key responsabilities: 1. Network Administration & Operations: Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers). Implement network segmentation, VLANs, and routing protocols for optimal performance. Monitor network health, set up alerts, and proactively troubleshoot latency or connectivity issues. Ensure high availability and redundancy through proper failover and disaster recovery strategies. Maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation for compliance and operational efficiency. 2. Vulnerability Management: Identify and assess network-related security vulnerabilities using industry-standard tools. Prioritize remediation efforts, apply patches, and validate fixes to maintain compliance with security policies. Collaborate with security teams to enforce network hardening and access control measures. 3. Support: Provide Level 2/3 support for complex network issues and escalations. Take ownership of critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis. Maintain detailed troubleshooting guides and knowledge base for network operations. 4. Project & Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to network infrastructure projects, including upgrades and new deployments. Perform testing and validation for new network implementations to ensure stability and compliance. Drive automation and optimization initiatives to improve network efficiency and reduce downtime. You need to succeed: 3-5 years of experience managing Global Network Services, including LAN/WAN/WiFi environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Strong technical background in global network services, network automation, and security‑driven projects (e.g., LAN/WAN segmentation). Proactive, flexible, reliable, and solution‑oriented mindset. Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills. Team‑oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
