Crewing Manager

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder in any discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experiencein a similar role preferably in the Maritime industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or related field is an addedadvantage.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and standards
• Proficiency in crewing management software Shipmate, is an added advantage.
• Proactive, take initiative and well organized.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Additional Information

Lead and mentored a team of crewing coordinators and executives. Ensure efficient crew planning, recruitment, and deployment for our fleet of vessels. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the crewing department. Collaborate with ship owners, managers, and other stakeholders to meet crewingrequirements. Implement and maintain crewing policies and procedures in compliance with maritimeregulations. Managing the crewing department budget, including payroll, recruitment costs, and otherrelated expenses. Planning and managing crew schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuringefficient deployment and mobilization of crew members. Monitoring the well-being of crew members, addressing their needs, and ensuring they haveaccess to necessary support. Managing and preparing crew payroll, ensuring timely and accuratepayment.
