Responsibilities
- As a Senior Oil & Gas Data Specialist, you will:

Requirements
- Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Mineral/Energy Economics, or a related STEM discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with large, complex technical datasets (ideally in oil & gas).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency using SQL for data querying and manipulation as well as demonstrated experience writing and testing stored procedures.
- Experience using PowerBI for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional and multi-national team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Direct experience with oil and gas well level data from North America.
- Experience working on distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones.
- Familiarity with Python programming is an advantage.

We then clean, merge, and enhance these disparate datasets using database stored procedures and proprietary models. The oil and gas team is responsible for ensuring that monthly data collection and cleaning processes are executed correctly and on time. A major emphasis is placed on quality control and building robust quality assurance practices to ensure that user-facing data is timely and free of error.
