About the role
As the first member of Labhouse's Strategy department, you'll be at the intersection of competitive intelligence, market analysis, and product thinking. Your job is to understand what's happening in the world of apps and digital products - what competitors are building, what's working, what's changing - and turn that into clear, actionable insights for our product and marketing teams. This is a role for someone who is deeply curious, highly analytical, and thrives on making sense of complexity. You won't be expected to know everything on day one - we'll train you and help you grow into it. What you will need is raw intelligence, a structured mindset, and the drive to become one of the sharpest strategic thinkers in the room. Responsabilities: Monitor and analyze competitor products, apps, and strategies on an ongoing basis Track product changes, new launches, and market movements - and assess their impact Synthesize large amounts of information into clear, structured insights and reports Work directly with product and marketing teams to translate insights into strategic recommendations Help define the frameworks and processes that will shape the Strategy department from scratch Stay ahead of trends in AI, productivity, and mobile apps About You: Academic background: Degree in Business, Analytics, Telecommunications, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field Graduated with honors or a high GPA (we care about academic excellence as a signal of intellectual rigor) Technical expertise: Exceptional analytical and structured thinking - you break down complex problems naturally High intellectual curiosity; you read, explore, and always want to understand why Ability to process large amounts of information and distill it into what actually matters Proactive and self-driven - comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments Detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture Genuine interest in the tech, apps, and AI space - you follow what's happening and you care about it Problem-solving and product focus: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges. Eye for detail and a product-first mindset, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 or above) Able to present complex findings in a simple, compelling way to different audiences Spanish is a plus
Requirements
