The Research Technician will support ongoing research focused on immunology and cancer biology, working closely with lab members to execute experiments and maintain critical lab operations. This role offers exposure to a wide range of techniques and the opportunity to contribute to impactful research in a fast-paced academic environment. Responsibilities

• Perform general mouse husbandry, including genotyping, embryo preservation, rederivation, tissue sectioning, and transcardial perfusion.
• Manage complex mouse colonies, including maintaining census, ordering, and coordinating with collaborators
• Support lab members with experiments using immunological and molecular biology techniques (imaging, flow cytometry, library prepation, PCR, cloning, etc.).
• Analyze and organize research data.
• Participate in lab meetings and review scientific literature.
• Assist with lab organization and general operational support.

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field required
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a research laboratory
• Experience working with animal models preferred
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to learn complex techniques with general instruction
• Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous learning
• Interest in immunology, cancer biology, or related research areas
