About the role The Senior Merchandising Executive plays a key role in driving retail performance through strategic merchandising, effective inventory management, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for ensuring the right product assortment, optimal stock levels, and compelling in-store execution to maximise sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Collection Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Operations (Supply Chain) teams to translate commercial strategy into impactful in-store execution across the Philippines market. You should have / be: Education Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience At least 3 years of experience in merchandising, retail buying, or store operations. Experience in retail store visits, competitor benchmarking, and product analysis is highly preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed merchandising decisions. Proficiency in data analytics tools and forecasting techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives. Proficiency in merchandising software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Main Responsibilities: 1. Merchandising Strategy Development Develop strategic merchandising plans to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product assortment optimisation. Support seasonal planning and product lifecycle decisions. Track and evaluate promotional effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. 2. Product Selection and Procurement Partner with the Collection Merchandising team to curate the optimal product assortment for the Philippines market. Conduct regular store visits and competitor benchmarking to inform buying decisions. Ensure timely product availability to meet demand and seasonal requirements. 3. Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels to ensure balanced stock availability across stores. Minimise stockouts and excess inventory through effective forecasting and replenishment planning. Use sales and inventory data to improve stock turnover and reduce carrying costs. 4.
