Location: Remote Position Overview Many believers have little connection to the history of the Church and, as a result, struggle to understand how the past shapes their faith today. We are seeking a contract writer to develop a theologically grounded book that explores church history, why it matters, and how it informs the way we understand the Church, theology, and Christian life in the present. This project may take a historical, theological, or more practical approach-but should clearly connect the story of the Church to today. The Daily Grace Co. is an ecumenical publisher that publishes books for the whole Church. Therefore, the tone of the book must navigate doctrinal and denominational disagreements with charity and an irenic tone. Scope of Work Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000-75,000 words) Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co. 's doctrinal commitment Commitment Contract, per-project basis. Compensation Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity.
