As Global Seed Logistics Lead at Syngenta R&D Vegetables, you are the person who (re) designs that system and takes it to the next level. You are the driving force behind the transformation of our logistics processes with direct impact on the speed at which new vegetable varieties reach the market. The challenge As Global Seed Logistics Lead for R&D Vegetables, you are responsible for building a logistics operation that supports our global breeding pipeline - faster, smarter, and more scalable than ever before. You work closely with the Digital (ADS) team, Germplasm Development teams, and regional Seed Operations teams to standardize processes and implement new ways of working. You are part of the Global R&D Seed Operations Leadership Team. Your key responsibilities include: Develop and implement a global seed logistics strategy for R&D Vegetables, including standardized processes, KPIs, and a transparent scorecard system Lead the network of Global R&D Seed Shipment Coordinators through bi-weekly cross-functional sessions, ensuring the global strategy is executed locally Partner with Applied Data Science & IT to build an innovation roadmap for the digitization of logistics processes Drive performance through Quarterly Management Reviews (aligned with QMS principles) with key stakeholders Identify deviations early, build action plans, and track follow-through to full implementation Share cross-site learnings on regulatory changes and emerging issues, with clear impact assessments on processes and timelines Your profile: To be successful in this role, you bring: At least 5-8 years of experience in logistics, preferably in an international and/or agricultural environment Knowledge of international trade documentation, export regulations, and legal documents (familiarity with CLIENT/Ecert is a plus) Experience in process transformation and connecting systems and data to standardize and scale operations Strong stakeholder management skills. You navigate complex, global organizations with ease Analytical thinking combined with a results-driven, pragmatic approach The ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, from operational teams to senior leadership Flexibility and resilience under pressure - you maintain clarity even when regulations or priorities shift quickly Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage Ready to make impact?
