Dental Hygienist / Hygiéniste dentaire - Perth-Andover Dental

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and provide preventive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride application, sealants, and whitening
• Educate patients on oral health, prevention techniques, and best practices
• Deliver consistent, positive, and personalized hygiene appointments
• Build strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical and professional standards
• Communicate with empathy and actively listen to patient concerns

Requirements

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree
• Registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
• Valid CPR certification
• A patient-centered mindset and strong communication skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude
• Dental hygiene students are also welcome to apply and gain valuable clinical experience.

• Évaluer, planifier et offrir des soins d'hygiène dentaire préventive : détartrage, surfaçage radiculaire, polissage, application de fluorure, scellants et blanchiment
• Agir à titre d'éducateur(trice) en santé bucco-dentaire auprès des patients
• Offrir des visites d'hygiène personnalisées, positives et cohérentes
