Job Description General Characteristics (Job Summary) Rigger Level 1 for an Aramco project performs critical lifting and rigging operations for general and critical lifts, ensuring all equipment is safe, selecting appropriate rigging techniques, and following Aramco's strict safety and operational standards. Key qualifications include a valid Aramco-approved Rigger Level 1 certification, several years of experience in oil & gas/industrial settings, and a strong understanding of rigging equipment, safety protocols, and the ability to communicate and work in a team. Roles and Responsibilities Perform all rigging and lifting operations in compliance with Saudi Aramco GI-8.001 and related lifting procedures. Execute rigging activities for lifting and moving materials, equipment, and machinery for general and critical lifts. Equipment Management: Ensure all rigging equipment is in safe working condition through regular inspection. Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict Aramco safety and operational standards and follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents. Planning & Preparation: Assist in planning lifting operations by selecting appropriate rigging equipment and techniques. Coordination: Collaborate with supervisors and other teams to ensure the smooth execution of lifting tasks. Documentation: Maintain records of rigging operations, inspections, and certifications. Communication: Give clear directions and signals to crane operators using hand signals, loudspeakers, or radios. Certification: Possess a valid, non-expired Saudi Aramco-approved Rigger Level 1 certification.
