About the role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to drive business growth by developing new opportunities and managing key customer accounts within the Data Centre, Engineering, and Building Services sectors. Work closely with the Solutions team to prepare presentations, bid proposals, and technical clarifications. Participate in solution design and provide guide specifications to consultants, system integrators, and customers. Respond to RFIs and RFPs by conducting cost analysis and preparing competitive technical proposals. Coordinate with solution and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Identify customer needs and convert leads into sales opportunities through value-added engineering solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, vendors, and business partners.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the Data Centre, Engineering, or Building Services industry.
- Proven experience in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong technical understanding of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) building services.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Experience preparing costing, quotations, and commercial proposals independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own vehicle.
