Equipment Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Equipment Specialist in the Voyage Repair Team of FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC PAX RIVER. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) reviewing and analyzing current material requirements, projected workload, and related data to determine appropriate course of action to ensure stock availability and delivery of required materials, 2) estimating costs and providing related supporting data required to support contractual requirements, 3) working in contract administration, including conducting market research, developing statements of work, and soliciting quotes from vendors, and 4) ensuring all acquisitions are compliant, maintaining fiscal accountability and a consistent state of audit readiness.
