Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Process monthly payroll for India employees accurately and within defined timelines. Manage end-to-end payroll cycle including:
- Data collection, Payroll validation, Payroll processing, Payroll reconciliation
- Payslip generation, Review payroll inputs including, New hires, Exits / full & final settlements, Salary revisions, Variable pay, Bonuses, Leave without pay (LOP)
- Ensure payroll changes are correctly updated in ADP payroll system.

- Work with ADP implementation or support teams to resolve payroll system issues.
- Participate in UAT testing, payroll transition, and system enhancements.
- Statutory Compliance (India) Ensure compliance with Indian payroll laws including: Income Tax (TDS), Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI)
- Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Gratuity Bonus Act compliance Responsibilities include: Accurate statutory deductions Monthly statutory filings, Form 16 preparation, Income tax declarations & proofs verification
- Year-end tax reconciliation
- Payroll Reconciliation & Controls: Conduct payroll validation checks before payroll release. Reconcile payroll reports with finance and accounting records.
- Identify payroll discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain payroll audit documentation.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee payroll queries related to:
- Salary calculations, Tax deductions, Payslips, PF / ESI deductions
- Full & final settlements. Provide guidance on income tax declarations and investment proofs.
- Full & Final Settlement (FNF), Process exit payroll including:
- Leave encashment, Gratuity (if applicable), Bonus payouts
- Recovery of dues, Ensure final settlement complies with Indian labor laws and company policies.
- Payroll Reporting: Generate and maintain payroll reports such as:
- Payroll variance report, Headcount report, Payroll cost analysis
- Statutory deduction reports, Finance reconciliation reports
- Vendor Management: Work closely with ADP payroll vendor team.
- Track payroll tickets and issue resolution. Ensure SLA adherence for payroll processing.
