About the role
You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL LEARNING SITE SAN DIEGO of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL. our resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Planning, organizing, administering and evaluating Safety, Occupational Heath, and Environmental program in a training environment; 2) Developing safety education for supervisors and employees to apply safe work practices and accept changes or modifications to achieve a safe work environment; 3) Evolving effective controls of work and equipment hazards resulting from new construction or modification of current facilities; 4) Progressing effective controls, and evaluation processes for the High Risk Training program.
