Responsibilities
- Provide patient admitting/registration function, receiving/registering patients/visitors coming in for tests/procedures and/or appointments
- Provide patient administrative services, organizing and maintaining patient charts, electronic and paper information filing systems

- Six (6) months to 1 year experience using computer applications or health information system required, i.e., EPR, MS outlook, PHS
- Must be able to read and understand sort notes, brief forms and/or instructions
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and/or divide
- Knowledge of another language, an asset
- Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to UHN standards
- Exercise initiative and good judgement with ability to multi-task
- Compliance with confidentiality requirements under UHN Privacy Policy
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
