Senior Data Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions on Azure Databricks to support analytics and AI use cases
• Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) aligned with enterprise standards
• Contribute to AI-ready data pipelines, including support for RAG, vector search, and ML workflows
• Apply data governance and security practices, including Unity Catalog, access controls, and data lineage
• Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, business) to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Create reusable data architecture patterns, frameworks, and best practices
• Support production readiness by enabling monitoring, performance optimization, and data quality controls
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals
• Basic Requirements
• Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data architecture, data engineering, or data platform design
• Proven experience working with Azure Databricks and cloud-based data platforms
• Strong experience in data modeling (dimensional, relational, or domain-driven design)
• Experience building or supporting data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and large-scale data systems
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance practices (e.g., access controls, data lineage)
• Demonstrated experience working with SQL, Python, or Spark-based data processing
• Preferred Skills / Experience
• Experience supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics workloads (e.g., RAG, vector databases, MLflow)
• Familiarity with Unity Catalog, data observability, or data quality frameworks
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence solution design

• Our Base Pay Range for this position
• $99,100 - $132,100
