Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, AP/AR, and supporting schedules
• Perform bank reconciliations and validate accuracy of financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, schedules)
• Prepare and submit GST, withholding tax, and other tax filings in accordance with IRAS regulations
• Support corporate tax computations and submissions
• Compile financial statements in compliance with SFRS standards
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Manage client portfolios, respond to queries, and provide accounting and tax advisory services
• Ensure compliance with SFRS and IRAS regulations, staying updated on regulatory changes
• Perform ad hoc accounting and tax-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in an outsourced accounting firm
• Professional qualification in ISCA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (candidates in progress will be considered)
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and IRAS regulations, including GST, corporate tax, and withholding tax
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP B1); experience with any is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
