Job Profile: Assistant Professor | Department of Pediatrics | Division of Pediatric Psychology & Developmental Medicine. Position Summary: The Department of Pediatrics , Division of Pediatric Psychology & Developmental Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible psychologist to join our expanding Division. Our team includes nationally and internationally renowned faculty, alongside our dedicated staff, united by a strong commitment to exceptional clinical care. Position Highlights: Health psychologists will work with an interdisciplinary team of colleagues, including physicians, nurses, social workers, care navigators and others to develop, implement and sustain integrated mental and behavioral health programming for patients. While positions are primarily clinical, opportunities for scholarship and teaching are available and encouraged. We are especially interested in psychologists to practice in the following areas: - Eating Disorders - Neurosciences - Endocrinology - Sleep Medicine - Urology The pediatric health psychologist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments of pediatric patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborating with medical professionals, offering guidance to parents/caregivers, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, conducting research and providing training and supervision to psychology trainees and interns. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in professional development, scholarly activities, and administrative duties. Clinical 90%: Services provided include health and behavior assessment and intervention. Teaching 10%: All Department faculty are expected to teach psychology learners, residents and medical students as they rotate through our clinics. Dedicated supervision opportunities may also be available. While this is primarily a clinical position, opportunities for clinical research and teaching are available. High-level overview of patient population: children and adolescents generally between 2-18 years of age Required: Locations the position may work in: Children's Milwaukee Campus Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.
