Job Title: User Researcher (Temporary) - Activision Requisition ID: R027542 Job Description: Your Mission Activision is looking for a passionate and experienced User Researcher to carry out user research on some of the world's best-known franchises. Your role will primarily focus on conducting research on various Activision projects. The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced researcher familiar with testing Single Player games for player sentiment and usability. This role is based in our Sherman Oaks office and follows an onsite work schedule of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Work arrangements may change at the company's discretion to meet business needs. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: Conducts and oversees user research for at least one project under the direction of a manager, including all stages from planning to execution. Carries out research using a variety of methods, including, but not limited to: usability testing, appreciation playtesting, balance testing, focus group moderation, interviewing, survey creation, heuristic evaluation, card sorting, exploratory research, and field studies. Crafts and edits actionable reports and surveys. Presents/communicates summarized research results directly to development teams for discussion and future implementation. Offers occasional design suggestions based on observation, research, and expertise. Occasionally travels to run on-site tests or to act as research expert. Player Profile
