About the role

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Technician to join our friendly and professional physiotherapy team at Rivers Hospital . Responsibilities

  • Undertake specific delegated support work to aid patient rehabilitation and discharge, as assigned by qualified physiotherapists.
  • Manage a delegated caseload, accepting patients referred by the physiotherapist and delivering treatment under supervision.
  • Carry out treatments in line with prescribed protocols, monitoring progress and making minor alterations within your scope of practice and guidance.
  • Maintain clear, accurate records of interventions and communicate effectively with the wider clinical team.
  • Assist with non- clinical, patient- centred administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, documentation, and maintaining the therapy environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is desirable.
  • Understanding of physiotherapy and its role in patient recovery.
  • Ability to follow guidance and treatment plans from qualified staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
