CODA Engineer

About the role

Position Purpose: Coda Accounting system is Unit4 system made with no permission to modify the source code. However, multiple satellites are working / are linked with CODA to manager Bank reconciliation / Matching process etc. The CODA developer/engineer oversees, depending on squad perimeter, developing or modifying the CODA Satellites SQL Code , according to the technical specifications to secure the satellites source code around Coda. The CODA developer/engineer can work with a JAVA developer to improve the current system. Production or UAT environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, ...) Direct Responsibilities - Participate to all the Agile ceremonies of the squad (Dailys, Sprint plannings, backlog refinements, reviews, etc...) - Communicate ASAP on the blocking points - Estimate and develop, according to the company standards, the SQL Code according to the Jira requirements (Change, bug fixing, ...). - Do the unit tests of the code developed to deliver the code for user acceptance test. Contributing Responsibilities - Accountable to deliver the amount of jira tickets assigned to during a sprint - Accountable to do the daily supports on the SQL Code in the perimeter of the squad - Accountable to contribute to the Engineer Chapter events Technical & Behavioral Competencies - Be autonomous on asset (Senior to expert level) and motivated on the daily tasks. - Be an active member of the squad (often multi-technologies). - Have proper communication with the Business. (English language) - Have some knowledge on project tracking software (Jira, ...) - Have a strong background in SQL (mandatory) and be able to check some test cases on own directly by launching some SQL requests on the different databases - Provide technical expertise to suggest optimization and technical enhancements - Unix/Windows Specific Qualifications: UNIT4 Financials Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities) Technical Skills: Behavioral Skills: Good Documentation skills Good communication skills
