Senior Software Engineer - Standing Access Team

Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Standing Access team. The core mission of this rapidly growing, newly released service is to empower safe, secure, quick, and easy access to company resources-drastically reducing attack surfaces by ensuring privileges are strictly managed. In this role, you will leverage AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK, and Python to design, develop, test, secure, and deploy critical services from planning to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions for high availability, fault tolerance, and massive scale as the Standing Access user base grows.
• Mentor peer engineers, drive technical discussions, and take ownership of complex architectural decisions.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Deliver end-to-end features and enhancements while maintaining the highest quality and security standards.
• Collaborate closely with security architects, product managers, and cross-functional development teams.
• Research and implement sophisticated cybersecurity mechanisms to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Explore and champion cutting-edge technologies to continuously elevate our tech stack.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Proven experience building enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications, with strong hands-on expertise in AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK, and Python.
• Solid understanding of security and networking implementations and best practices.
• Experience with microservices or event-driven design and development.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• A proactive, self-starter mentality with an internal drive for continuous improvement and a passion for high-quality code design.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English, with the ability to effectively share knowledge across the team.

• This is a Hybrid position. We believe in the power of collaboration and the flexibility of remote work. You will split your time between working remotely and working from our Sofia office, located at Aleksandar Malinov 89 .
