Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing processes for the production of Plastic Pour Bottles.
  • Perform and document line clearances.
  • Verify correctness of material.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills and computer skills required.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
  • Able to complete documentation legibly and per procedure.
  • Trained as forklift and hand cart driver preferred.
  • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
  • Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur.
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
  • Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders; stand for long periods of time; lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds and able to lift above the shoulders.

Your Role at Baxter This is where my hands make life-sustaining products As a Material Handler III, you support the efficient production of Plastic Pour Bottles by ensuring materials are accurate, available, and properly handled throughout the process. You perform line clearances, verify materials, and operate forklifts to move gaylords and totes between production and warehouse areas. You also prepare containers by cleaning and relining them, stage finished goods, and report any issues to leadership. Your role includes maintaining documentation, supporting Lean initiatives, and upholding safety, housekeeping, and 6S standards. Your Team You are part of a cross-functional team including production operators, material handlers, and supervisors working together to meet safety, quality, and production goals. The team depends on strong communication and coordination to maintain material flow and reduce downtime.
