Instructional Systems Specialist

About the role

This position is located within the Workforce Development Division, Learning Solutions Branch. The incumbent serves as the lead analyst, course/program designer, or contract manager for major projects including development, delivery or evaluation of courses or instructional packages. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I or FG/GS-13. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is Experience in recommending training solutions, establishing timelines, resolving conflict, and meeting milestones for complex course development projects (e.g., virtual instructor-led, classroom-based, web-based, performance support tools) with multiple stakeholders in a geographically dispersed environment.
