Roastery Production Assistant

About the role

Pavement's Roastery Production Assistant is someone who is enthusiastic about coffee roasting and brewing. This person will work on-site at Pavement's roastery, assisting with daily roastery operations such as labeling coffee bags, weighing and bagging coffee, packing orders, roasting, and cleaning. This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work on-site at our roastery on average of 30 hours per week. This role reports directly to the Roastery Manager. Our Production Assistant position is a dynamic role. Below are some of the physical demands the job will make of you. - Ability to stand and walk for longs period of time. You'll be on your feet for most of the day. - Use of hands to reach, grip & perform specific movements. - Squat, bend, and reach for items below your waist and above your shoulders. - Ability to push/pull, lift/carry or move up to 50 pounds. - Climbing stairs and ladders. You may need to use a step ladder to reach something or navigate up & down stairs to access storage areas. - Good communication skills.
