Responsibilities

  • Execute pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners via phone, web, or onsite meetings, drive the discovery process, and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs
  • Ensure customer success by working with Workiva Client Services team for smooth on-boarding and long term success
  • Demonstrate knowledge across multiple domain areas developing working knowledge of industries, departments, and use cases where Workiva can have an impact

  • Assist Sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field ; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience
  • 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, internal audit, software development, technical sales, or a related field
  • Fluency in English & Italian
  • Experience with business intelligence technologies, databases or data management platforms
  • Experience in process improvement consulting and financial transformation initiatives
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex financial or technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Comprehensive understanding of the internal processes of a company's accounting, finance or sustainability function
  • Ability to assess business needs and deliver a value-based, compelling software demonstration, using formal presales methodologies
  • Creative, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven problem-solving skills and business acumen
  • Excellent client-facing presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, successfully multi-tasking and determining priorities to meet deadlines
  • Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests

The qualified candidate will be focused on our Italian market offering specific technical subject matter expertise to the sales function, supporting the business and functional aspects of Workiva's platform and solutions via technical and architecture presentations, product demonstrations, and communication of value-based messaging about the Workiva platform. Additionally, the job requires development of example solutions, prototypes and proofs of concept to demonstrate viability and value of Workiva solutions.
