Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment, configuration, and activation of a cloud-based SaaS security platform across key SaaS applications.
  • Maintain and operate the SaaS security platform on a daily basis, including tuning detections, managing alerts, and optimizing security controls.
  • Integrate the SaaS security platform into existing security tooling and workflows, including SIEM/SOAR, ticketing, SaaS applications, and incident response processes.
  • Collaborate with SaaS applications, Infrastructure, and Security teams to embed security into platform delivery and operational practices.
  • Monitor and investigate security events, prioritize incident response actions, and support remediation efforts.
  • Evaluate, review, and implement secure SaaS configurations and API integrations, ensuring strong posture and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and document operational runbooks, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for security tasks and incidents for SaaS security.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows through scripting and platform APIs to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Stay current with emerging SaaS security trends, threats, and platform capabilities to enhance detection, coverage, and defenses.
  • Provide hands-on support and expert guidance to internal teams on secure SaaS usage, policy interpretation, and platform best practices.
  • What's REQUIRED
  • 4-5 years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on SaaS security, including hands-on expertise with SaaS security platforms and tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon Shield, Appomni, Valance, Obsidian, or related SSPM technologies.
  • Hands-on experience delivering and securing SaaS platforms-such as Workday, Salesforce, Box, Databricks, Slack, and Zoom-while assisting with security configuration reviews and implementing secure settings and policies for mission-critical applications.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools for security operations and incident response
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, paired with a proactive and passionate approach to security
  • Ability to drive innovative solutions, staying ahead of the evolving threat landscape while working effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks in complex SaaS environments.
