Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning and execution by collaborating with leadership or subject matter experts on project requirements.
• Handle cross-departmental coordination throughout each project's life cycle.
• Proactively identify and manage risks through escalation and communication.
• Identify other teams within Rockstar with necessary technical knowledge and responsibilities to cultivate relationships in order to drive a project forward.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience with 3+ years in project management, preferably in the IT or Security domain.
• Strong understanding of IT / Security principles, technologies, and methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• An intrinsic sense of ownership, initiative, and drive.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and communication tools.

This role is part of the PM / Production organization and provides execution structure, communication discipline, and coordination across teams. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. WHAT WE DO We partner with team leads, directors, and subject matter experts across IT and Security. We deliver end-to-end project execution for both internal team projects and cross-departmental efforts. We ensure project requirements are understood across departments, that feasibility is established, and alignment is maintained through delivery. Build collaborative processes with development teams that promote honest, transparent, and frequent communication.
