Responsibilities
- Design, CAD modeling, and development of test rigs and fixtures.
- Select and assemble mechanical parts (e.g., pneumatics, actuators, load cells, motors).
- Installation and commissioning of test rigs in the lab or workshop.
- Maintain existing test rigs and help improve them for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Use basic mechanical engineering concepts (solid mechanics, heat, fluids) in hands-on projects.
- Apply mechanical safety guidelines in all work.
- Work with the team to deliver projects on schedule and report progress clearly.
- Follow Dyson safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in team meetings and support collective project goals.
- Communicate clearly with team members from different backgrounds and disciplines.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electromechanical / Robotics Engineering (or similar).
- Experience with CAD tools is preferred.
- Interest in hands-on building and testing.
- Awareness of basic safety practices.
