Wash/Pack Operator

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean components using approved cleaning equipment and materials.
• Inspect parts for dirt, damage, defects, or contamination before packing.
• Dry parts thoroughly to prevent corrosion or damage.
• Pack parts according to company specifications and customer requirements.
• Label packages accurately with part numbers, batch numbers, and other required information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Operate washing and packing equipment safely and report any faults.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Complete production records and quality documentation accurately.
• Assist with stock movement and material handling when required.
• Required Skills and Experience
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse processes.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to lift and move parts safely (within company manual handling and lifting guidelines).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential

Job Description Wash/Pack Operator Derby Full Time A opportunity has arisen for a Wash/Pack Operator working within a team environment to both clean and pack shafts using the tools and chemicals provided. This role involves the washing of critical components to ensure that all materials are clean and corrosive free for their following processes. the role also incorporates packing final materials as per SABRE requirements to send to the build line. This work will be carried out on L.P, H.P and I.P Mainline shafts, stub shafts, Discs and Drums as identified through Technical instructions, MDT and finished drawing Why join Rolls-Royce?
