The IRC's response in the oPt draws on our global experience and expertise in emergency response, as well as our longstanding presence in the Middle East and North Africa region. The IRC operates in the oPt through a dual approach: Partner-led Response: as a priority, the IRC collaborates with local organizations to ensure a community-driven response, leveraging local knowledge, capacities, and networks. These Partnerships include integrated interventions across Basic Needs, Health & Nutrition, Protection, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), and Early Childhood Development (ECD). Direct Implementation: The IRC directly implements programming in: Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Nutrition, Child Protection (CP) & Women's Protection and Empowerment (WPE).
