Sheet Metal Forming Technician (CNC Brake Specialist)

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC press brake equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience working with a variety of materials, including:
• Galvanized steel
• Stainless steel
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid mathematical skills related to fabrication and manufacturing.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments that may experience varying temperatures.

This position is responsible for producing high-quality formed metal components through the setup, programming, adjustment, and operation of CNC-controlled press brake equipment. The ideal candidate possesses strong fabrication knowledge, experience working with multiple material types, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances while meeting production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
