- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans for data center construction projects.

- Maintain all required HSE documentation including permits, inspection logs, MSDS/SDS records, and incident reports.
- Manage environmental compliance activities including stormwater management (SWPPP), spill prevention, waste disposal, and air quality monitoring.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during site inspections or audits.
- Partner with Construction Managers and subcontractors to embed safety requirements into daily scheduling and operations.
- Review and approve subcontractor safety plans to ensure compliance with HSE policies and project-specific requirements prior to mobilization.
- Track and report HSE KPIs (TRIR, LTIR, near-miss rates) to project leadership on a regular cadence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role on active construction sites.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (minimum); OSHA 500 or CSP preferred.
- Direct experience managing HSE compliance on large-scale commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety standards and applicable EPA environmental regulations.
- Experience developing site-specific safety plans, JSAs, and emergency response plans from scratch.
- Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations and produce actionable root cause analysis reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence behavior across a diverse workforce.

- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
- Experience managing SWPPP and environmental permitting for large ground-up construction sites.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly valued for field communication.
- Familiarity with Procore, Intelex, or other safety management platforms.
