Liquid Personnel is recruiting Senior Occupational Therapist for its client's Community OT Team in Waltham Forest, London. Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role within Adult Social Care where you can make a tangible impact on independence and service delivery? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Community Occupational Therapy Team in Waltham Forest. This role has been created to help reduce waiting times for Occupational Therapy assessments while supporting residents to remain independent through timely interventions, equipment provision, and person-centred solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside two other experienced locum Occupational Therapists in a supportive and proactive team environment. What will your responsibilities be? As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will carry out community-based assessments within service users' homes, identifying opportunities to maximise independence, reduce risks, and potentially reduce care package requirements through effective Occupational Therapy interventions. You will manage a varied caseload and work closely with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals to deliver positive outcomes. Complete Occupational Therapy assessments within service users' homes. Identify and recommend equipment, adaptations, and interventions to maximise independence. Review functional abilities and assess ongoing support needs. Work collaboratively with social care colleagues, health professionals, and carers. Support efforts to reduce waiting lists through efficient case management. Contribute to positive outcomes that may reduce reliance on long-term care packages. Maintain accurate records, reports, and case documentation.
