Dental Assistant and Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments to assist dentists during patient procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised clinical environment to support efficient dental operations
• Greet and welcome patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient records accurately
• Handle patient inquiries and phone calls professionally to address concerns and provide information
• Monitor dental supply inventory and order materials to ensure availability for daily operations
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a hygienic clinical setting
• Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and general office support to aid clinic workflow
• Use dental software and administrative tools proficiently to manage patient and clinic information
• Collaborate with team members positively and contribute to a supportive work environment
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar patient-facing role
• Knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and infection control practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and grow within the dental care field
