This position is for the 2026 - 2027 Academic Year beginning in October 2026 and ending in June 2027 GO Tutor Corps in partnership with AmeriCorps Location: Stamford, CT School Partners: Cloonan MS, Rippowam MS, Dolan MS, Turn of River MS, Westhill HS, Stamford HS Schedule: Mon - Thurs from 7:20 am - 2:20 pm including a 30-minute lunch break (6.5 paid hours) Cloonan MS, Rippowam MS, Westhill HS, Stamford HS Mon - Thurs from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm including a 30-minute lunch break (6.5 paid hours) Dolan MS, Turn of River MS Mandatory in-person training September 29th & 30th, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm both days, dates and times subject to change First day working in school building: October 1st Position Summary As a GO Fellow, you will play a critical role in supporting students' academic success by providing targeted, small-group instruction in Math. Fellows are embedded within school communities and contribute meaningfully to students' daily learning experiences. We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable fellows who are passionate about educational equity and eager to make a measurable difference in students' academic achievement. Ideal candidates are skilled at building relationships, adapting to different learning styles, and engaging students in-person through thoughtful, culturally responsive instruction. Fellows typically work with 3-4 students per session in a supportive environment, helping to drive gains in core academic areas while fostering student confidence and connection. Fellows must be able to fully commit to one of the school schedules listed above. Schedules will be finalized during training and will remain consistent throughout the year. Members who complete the Three-Quarter Time term (1,200 hours) receive a pre-tax living allowance of $22,000 for the full service year. The estimated pre-tax living allowance typically ranges from $1,000 to $1,100 in biweekly payments.
