About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist in Planning, reviewing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs in line with best practices and OEM recommendations.
- Support the identification and reporting on plant and equipment inefficiencies and suggest possible improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing short term engineering solutions that efficiently resolve problems with plant.
- Liaison with and providing technical support to operations and maintenance staff.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements which includes laws related to cyber security like and not restricted to Gas metering code, ISO-27001 and CCoP.
- Support the execution and coordination plant engineering projects, including plant overhauls, ensuring desired outcomes are achieved in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Participate in coordinating technical training for others in area of technical expertise.
- Participate in monitoring the effectiveness of maintenance programs, including major overhauls, and providing information and advice in respect of Contractors' work performance.
- Support spare part management and initiate timely procurement action to maintain critical spares.
- Respond to emergencies in plant irrespective of weekends and public holidays.
Requirements
- Fresh local graduates with a degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering who have a strong interest in the power plant industry are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience are welcome to apply and may be considered for direct placement without undergoing a traineeship
