About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROJECT DIVING COORDINATOR in the Production Department (Code 900) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in coordinating, planning, and scheduling nuclear and/or non-nuclear marine diving operations within an industrial shipyard or ship repair environment. Experience directing, managing, and evaluating the work of marine divers, technical specialists, or industrial trade personnel, including setting work priorities. Experience reviewing, analyzing, and developing technical work packages, drawings, and Task Group Instructions (TGIs) to support underwater hull repair and husbandry. Experience ensuring compliance with marine diving safety regulations, including standards equivalent to the U.S. Navy Diving Manual and NAVSEA Underwater Ships Husbandry Manual or similar. Experience coordinating with project managers, shipyard departments, and port operations to resolve technical and scheduling bottlenecks.
