Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will:
  • Access Control & Asset Protection: Prevent unauthorized individuals and vehicles from entering the facility or restricted areas by utilizing the latest security technology and electronically provisioning temporary or permanent access for authorized personnel.
  • Surveillance & System Monitoring: Monitor safety, security, and fire alarm systems, oversee onsite Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and rapidly respond to triggered alerts or system anomalies.
  • Patrols & Visual Inspections: Conduct required visual inspections of key assets and locations within the facility through roving foot and vehicle patrols, encompassing both internal and external facility grounds, throughout the year and in all weather conditions.
  • Incident Documentation & Reporting: Appropriately document daily activity and formally report any significant security or safety incidents to maintain comprehensive audit trails.
  • Threat Mitigation & De-escalation: Quickly and effectively assess and de-escalate situations which may present a threat to the safety or security of anyone within the facility.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Citizen Compliance: Applicants must meet all requirements, including customer-contracting specifications, which will require Legal Permanent Residence or United States (US) Citizenship.
  • Clearance Readiness: Must be willing and able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to clearly convey messages and requirements to inform our customers effectively, while seamlessly sharing updates between team members.
  • Multitasking & Technical Adaptability: Technology-adept capabilities with preferred experience in Access Control systems and ticketing system software, along with the ability to perform basic computer data entry across multiple security platforms.
  • Attention to Detail: A proven ability to understand, respect, and strictly follow highly process-driven documented procedures and Iron Mountain's safety code.

Benefits
