Introduction Join CERN's Superconducting Radiofrequency (SRF) team and help design next-generation cryomodules for future particle accelerators, including the FCC-ee project, and you will work in a multidisciplinary environment developing advanced cryogenic and radiofrequency systems at the forefront of accelerator technology. Functions Participate, and gradually take up a lead role, in the cryomodule design and integration of the SRF cavities and associated systems, as well as the assembly processes, in clean-room and outside clean-room, and associated special tooling. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams at CERN and partner laboratories. Take up lead of the cryogenic engineering activities, including thermal performance and safety considerations. Ensure mechanical designs meet applicable safety and regulatory requirements, in particular for pressure vessels. Coordinate design, prototyping and testing activities with engineering and technical teams. Monitor progress and share results through reports and presentations. Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
