AML and Fraud Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain up to date with the legislation Company Risk Assessment, AML rules, Policies and procedures.
• Мonitoring transactions and escalating unusual or suspicious activity.
• Supporting KYB and AML processes for onboarding new and existing clients.
• Preparing and assisting with regulatory filings, audits, and internal and external reporting in regard to AML, compliance and PSD II и LPSPS process.
• Representing the company in front of the regulators, including but not limited Bulgarian National bank.
• Develop and conduct AML trainings for all company employees.
• Communication with authorities, including SANS.
• Support the preparation of documentation and support during on-site due diligence.
• Communicate regularly to the responsible group team and the e-money issuer team.
• Escalating and Reporting suspicion activities.
• Support the legal activities of the department, where required.
• Establish effective relationship with all other departments.

• Master`s degree in Law is a must (Bulgarian).
• 2+ years of work experience in legal area roles (financial, banking or insurance sector will be a plus).
• Knowledge and experience in AML policies drafting, AML local and EU regulations and AML monitoring, control, and analysis.
• Knowledge on KYC/MLRO, compliance, or risk.
• Knowledge of PSD II and Payment system and payment services acts would be considered as a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficient in English and Bulgarian.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude, willing to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and data driven mindset.
