About the role
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Alexandria HQ, with a hybrid working arrangement . In this role, you will support the Facilities Management and Property function across a national, multi-site network. Acting as a key procurement partner, you will develop and deliver category, contract, and supplier strategies that drive value, improve operational efficiency, and support business performance. You will play a key role in supporting upcoming integration activity, offering a rare opportunity to work on a large-scale supplier and contract consolidation program (subject to regulatory approvals).
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage category, contract, and supplier strategies
- Support and influence Facilities Management teams in optimising supplier performance and service delivery
- Lead supplier and contract integration activities as part of a potential major business transition
- Identify and deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies across the FM and property portfolio
- Provide expert advice on sourcing, supplier management, and contract strategy
- Analyse spend data and supply markets to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with procurement policies and governance frameworks
- Build strong relationships with operational and technical stakeholders across the business
- Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience managing categories within facilities maintenance and or property
- Strong background in procurement, category management, or supplier management
- Experience working in operational, industrial, FMCG, or multi-site environments
- Proven capability to deliver value through supplier and contract optimisation
- Strong analytical skills with experience in spend and market analysis
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- CIPS or similar procurement certification desirable
