Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior resources
- Performance-driven mindset and ability to identify and meet KPIs
- Capable of writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code and troubleshooting/debugging current applications.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in Software Development.
- 6 - 8 years of Java-based development or support experience, with knowledge in enterprise/ microservices architecture.
- 6 - 8 years developing or supporting modern web applications, including cloud/web-based content.
- Desire to work with international customers. L3 support engineers receive requests from customers around the world to perform deeper problem determination analysis and bug fixing.
- Experience communicating at different technical levels, from the application architects to the end user.
- Technologies: Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Git, Maven, Docker, MongoDB, Selenium/Cucumber, Azure/AWS.
- English: Fluent (B2 at least)
- Experience with Agile software development
- Familiarity with retail concepts and/or retail applications
- Experience developing and supporting distributed applications.
- It would be a plus if the candidate has experience in: JavaScript, Vue.js, NodeJS, TypeScript, Markdown, ActiveMQ, or CosmosDB.

L3 Support Engineer, Software Engineer III At TGCS, we provide services to retail clients worldwide by developing and delivering a wide variety of custom software solutions such as POS, self-checkout, and mobility solutions. We are looking for a support software developer to work on our ELERA TM Commerce platform, a comprehensive, unified commerce platform that will free retailers to reimagine their business without the constraints of traditional retail IT Systems. Hence, we seek proactive and skilled resources to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and ever-changing environment. This position is for an L3 technical support software engineer who will be the final escalation point responsible for resolving field issues. As part of this role, you will work closely with both L2 and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, write functional and design documents, develop application software, analyze vulnerabilities, and oversee service improvement.
