About the role
Hours of work: Full-time Tenure: Fixed term for 3 years The Department of Politics at the University of Liverpool is seeking to recruit to between 2 and 5, three-year fixed term lectureships (T&S) in Politics and/or International Relations. The appointments represent continued investment in the Department, underpinned by recent growth in student numbers. The number of posts recruited to will be determined by student intake for the 2026-27 academic year. The successful candidates will contribute to core teaching and scholarship in the Department, be expected to play a part in the activities of the School, and to undertake administrative roles within the Department, School, and University as appropriate, in line with the University of Liverpool's Strategy 2031. The posts aim to build further expertise across the range of existing teaching and scholarship in the Department, and applications are invited from all areas of the discipline. We particularly encourage applications from scholars with a background in international politics and international relations, British politics, political theory, and public policy.
