About the role
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the FLEET SUPPORT TEAM(FST) DEPARTMENT, FST LOGISITICS DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1. Coordinating logistics support for all active configurations of assigned systems to include utilizing appropriate software models, tools and techniques that assist in optimizing costs throughout the lifecycle of the systems and ensuring cost effective metrics are adhered to; 2. Developing appropriate budgets and execution plans in regards to printing and distribution costs for the yearly publication plan based on publication discrepancy reports received and documented adhering to the requirements of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) timelines; 3. Providing the requirements needed to author and review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) to include the funding, man-hours, and tools needed to implement changes to Naval Aviation Weapons Systems; 4. Evaluating technical manuals, repair parts lists, and related data for Naval Aviation Weapons Systems to assess documentation adequacy and operational readiness for the warfighter; 5. Creating and presenting informational briefings to multiple stakeholders to represent NAVAIR Headquarters program sponsors/customers at meetings, briefings, conferences and workshops concerning Integrated Logistic Support(ILS) and technical manuals for assigned systems.
