About the role

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AERIAL DELIVERY SPECIALIST (T32), PD# D2130000 and is part of the RI 56th Troop Command. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a multi faceted broad spectrum of aerial delivery functions, necessary for management of day-to-day aerial delivery operations. Military Requirements: E-4 through W-2 You must indicate your rank somewhere on your resume. Compatible Military Assignments: For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Military skill set is determined by AFSC/MOS requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of equipment and practices associated with the type of work to be done. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience or training of Aerial Delivery Operations and functions sufficient to plan, coordinate, facilitate, and expedite on-time movement of personnel, and airdrop cargo in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Must possess skills and knowledge required to be certified to inspect, test, and perform quality assurance with 100% accuracy on all life support systems. Joint Air Inspection and Jump Master qualifications/currency to identify through prescribed inspection processes to eliminate malfunctions that may affect the safety of aircraft/personnel, to ensure a safe and proper drop of personnel and airdrop load from aircraft, and to insure items offered/accepted for transport by air meet proper specifications.
