Role Overview The Digital Method Developer/Tester will build, validate, and support digital laboratory methods using BIOVIA LES/OneLab and LabWare LIMS/GLIMS, enabling standardized, compliant, and efficient end-to-end lab execution workflows. This role partners with QC labs, SMEs, QA, IT, and integration teams to translate laboratory requirements into executable digital methods, support LES/LIMS integrations, ensure GxP and data integrity compliance, and drive continuous improvement through Agile delivery and emerging AI-enabled development practices. Responsibilities

  • Digital Method Development Develop and configure digital methods in BIOVIA LES (OneLab, Compose, Pipeline Pilot)
  • Convert paper/legacy methods into structured, executable workflows
  • Build reusable templates and standardized components
  • LabWare / LIMS Integration Design and support integration between BIOVIA LES and LabWare/GLIMS
  • Ensure alignment of: Sample lifecycle, aliquoting, and chain of custody
  • Results reporting, calculations, and release decisions
  • Support data mapping between LIMS and LES systems.
  • System Configuration & Ecosystem Integration Configure workflows across LES, LIMS, and instrument systems
  • Collaborate with instrument (LabX, Empower), Scitara, and material management systems
  • Support APIs and data exchange across platforms
  • Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with QC labs, SMEs, QA, and IT to gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical method designs
  • Support global standardization and harmonization of digital methods
  • Validation & Compliance Execute SDLC activities (User requirements, build, testing, deployment)
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and data integrity requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11)
  • Support validation testing and documentation
  • Agile Delivery & Support Work within Agile framework using JIRA/Confluence
  • Troubleshoot LES/LIMS issues and provide user support
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean optimization
  • Familiarity and use of AI technologies to lean the development effort
  • What you should have :
  • Bachelor's degree (IT, Computer Science, or Life Sciences)
  • 3+ years experience in: BIOVIA LES digital method development
  • LabWare LIMS / GLIMS
  • Technical Skills: BIOVIA tools (Pipeline Pilot, OneLab, Compose)
  • eVAL/Kneat experience, Veeva chage control experience
  • LIMS integration concepts (LabWare, GLIMS)
  • SDLC and validation lifecycle
  • Functional Knowledge: Laboratory workflows (Analytical, Micro, Compendial)
  • Sample management, calculations, and reporting
  • Data integrity and compliance principles
  • Preferred
  • Experience with Biovia Onelab, Labware LIMS, MODA, or LabX integrations
  • Lean / Agile delivery experience
