Responsibilities

  • Support Electrophysiology Procedures
  • Assist physicians during EP studies, ablations, pacemaker and ICD implantations

  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrophysiology, interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization lab preferred
  • Florida radiologic technologist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • RCES, RCIS, or ARRT certification preferred (reimbursed upon hire)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and arrhythmias
  • Proficiency with EP lab equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills

Role Summary The Electrophysiology (EP) Technician is responsible for providing technical and clinical support in the electrophysiology lab, including preparation, intra-procedural assistance, and post-procedure activities. This individual ensures proper equipment function, accurate documentation, and adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols. Hours: Monday-Friday (7am-4pm) No nights, weekends, holidays, or call
