About the role

The Office of Information Technology is seeking applicants for their IT Specialist (Senior Red Hat Infrastructure Engineer) position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must also meet the minimum qualification requirement below. SK-14: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-13 level: Administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across on-premise and cloud platforms to ensure secure, stable, and scalable enterprise operations; Managing and optimizing Red Hat virtualization technologies, including Red Hat Virtualization (RHV/RHEL-V) and related hypervisor infrastructure, to support mission-critical applications and enterprise workloads; and Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift environments to support containerized applications and enterprise modernization initiatives.
